My Daily Supplement Regimen

Not the most flattering photo, I know, but it doesn't matter. We're being real.

Part of being in charge of your own health is to decide and take the steps to do what you need to do. Befriending who we call "discipline" but this matter is always never easy. Hence, my disheveled look shown in the photo as we attempt to make the most of each day given us.

Technically, the process is being a nanny to yourself first, before any one else. I am a caregiver, and I do caregiving to myself, too. I take daily supplementation to manage my health and energy levels better. I have been doing that consistently for over a decade now. I have my daily essentials kit ready, in addition to other supplements. Price-y I know, especially for so many of us who can barely earn to afford stuff we really like to have in our daily lives. It's your choice at the end of the day.

This is part of our daily regimen. For over 10 years now. This one is in ground form and you add some water, following instructions, and have it daily. This ensures your systems absorb it completely, rather than just being lodged somewhere else inside your gut.

I take at least 2 shots of it daily. I get more than enough confidence that my cellular systems gain better tools from having this as the systems fight all these unwanted oxidants around us by my daily intake of this supplement. Imagine that helping you out as you exist daily. And in addition to other necessary steps you have to follow, including good sleep, exercise, managing your diet.

It's among the best antioxidants out there. I take this at least once a day, and have been doing so for over 10 years. I can claim part of myself has certainly become better because of this product. There's even a version of it that's called "beauty blend," which I use too. I Remember This Snowman from the then existing restaurant 2 doors away. This year's winter brought a snowstorm, (click on the link to watch a video I made of cat Nina and she was watching the blurry window at the height of the storm where we were in Chelsea in Manhattan, New York) but nobody built Mr Snowman this time. The restaurant was replaced by another one. It was pandemic time then. Now, no more freestanding space outside. More snow this time, which may turn out to become ice if the weather allows it. It seems like things have become normal as usual. Who knows for sure?

A good friend was texting me after a long while, and has told me he has been in the midst again of thinking of moving from New York City (NYC) after seeing that he's becoming bored in what most people believe as the cultural capital of the USA. What do I really tell him? Not much. I just have to listen very well.

I did listen and thought I could agree with him; he consulted with me many times prior to his moving from Los Angeles (LA) to here years ago. It does not matter anymore what I told him then. What matters is this moment.

Of course, there's more to this development. I have other ideas. Who am I to live his life for him? I just believe he doesn't want to agree to the fact that there are people like me who have decided not to retire for good in the Philippines where he and I hail from and have known each other as we went to many super exciting mountain trips together with many more other good friends.

I'm not regretting to say I am retiring here, so I am bent on earning more, investing more, saving more to enable me to retire here most comfortably at the very least. Hence, I have to earn more profits from the expansion and growth of my online businesses and my shopping annuity.

I wish and pray for the best for my self and my friend.

Above: My plantings as of August 22, 2016Below: When They Were Planted July 11, 2016 After I've done my yoga practice and made brunch for myself earlier, I couldn't help but have some quick ruminations today. I also made close observations on those plantings I have had since mid July this year. My friend Ed B gave me those stems from the cuttings he made from an older plant that he said originally came from a friend who brought them from Florida. Let me figure out that statement more closely. I'm amazed at these simple but awesome yet generally ignored exhibitions of growth events happening in nature. I suppose it follows that we human beings have that in ourselves, that capacity to grow and expand even within just by ourselves. It continues even after we've died --- I have seen that from my deceased Father who in his casket continued to grow his mustache, somewhat. I'm grateful for these capacities the whole universe has provided each one of us. It's that connection and link we've got with each other, even in the midst of confusion, troubles, problems and other challenges that we have and face as long as we're alive. With that realization, I am assured about the outcomes of my continuing efforts in growth, expansion, explosion, implosion, development, improvement of what I have got in my hands. Thank you for this. Gratefully, I will continue moving on with this life each moment that I still have.

Accepting An Unexpected Gift-In Kind From An Online Customer

Today, I'm humbled to have received a gift-in-kind from one of my Amazon.com storefront customers who bought his book, which he expected was in German, from me. I failed to see that the book's description was supposed to be in German when I was listing my copy for sale. And so I sent my customer the wrong one. He messaged me to let me know about the fact. I apologized and offered to refund him his payment plus the shipment fee if he would kindly return the wrong item to me as soon as possible. He said it's OK and that he would keep the book. I'm amazed at this development. I'm remain grateful for the experience of having met an online customer who chose not to make so much fuss about his buying experience with me. And I'll cherish the honor of having met such a customer. Thank you, again.

Read the article on TNYT here. Even businesses, which are owned and managed by people, have moving on experiences. Certain changes can't be helped, if you get to see how changes have continuously enveloped this 'much expensive' section of Manhattan. In this particular case, I see it's technology that has brought about the actual moving on event to unfold and take place. And so many people's lives would be affected as this moving on process continues to take place. Somewhat dreaded (it seems to me) by some, we can all learn to be prepared to face our respective moving on experiences. The process is not exclusive to human beings, as we all get to become more familiar with 'Moving On' while we go about doing and pursuing our respective lives. It's not something I invented - I just happened to experience it so strongly many years ago and have decided to face it and highlight it in my writing works. Don't take it against yourself if you're very much in the midst of moving on process. Read the article to get some pointers.
